So, last month was the unveiling of Leanne Prain’s ‘Hoopla, The Unexpected Art of Embroidery’, a How-To book for those who love unconventional craft. I had the honor of being part of that book with a project of my own.
The project took me around 46 hours to complete, and I waited an entire year to see the finished product…boy was I surprised! The book is a whopping 400 full colour pages, and is not only a pattern book, but includes interviews, as well all kinds of interesting information regarding the history of embroidery.
If you are someone who enjoys needlecraft, and art that’s a little more political, sexual or subversive in any way…this book is for you! You can purchase the book for $29.95 @ Aresenal Pulp Press
